Villa Ravello

Boasting stunning views of the Amalfi Coast, the lovely Villa Ravello is located in the very heart of Ravello, close to both the cathedral and the famous Villa Rufolo, where concerts are held on balmy summer evenings. Villa Ravello has been published in several international architecture magazines, such as “The World of Interiors 2015.”  It was a 12th-century church, and is now restored to an exceptionally high standard. The nave, with its majestic vaulted ceiling and double row of columns, has been transformed into an atmospheric and scenic living room, decorated with authentic “Capodimonte” ceramics. The terraces have panoramic views over the gulf of Amalfi, and this combined with the tranquility of the lovely private garden makes the Villa Ravello perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Only a 3 minute walk from the house there is a pleasant hotel with a swimming pool, which guests can access for 5 € per ticket.

The three naves of the antique church now house the spacious living room, which has comfortable sofas and pieces of period furniture. The large windows enjoy great views out across the bay and flood the room with light. The dining area has an oval table with chairs and the kitchen is very well equipped, with an oven, microwave, dish washer, toaster and cooking utensils. In the laundry room, you will also find the washing machine.The property can accommodate up to 9 people in 4 double bedrooms, each with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms, plus a single bedroom with an external bathroom.

The terraces of Villa Ravello are truly stunning: bordered by fragrant geraniums and roses, they offer an unforgettable view of the steep coastline plunging suddenly into the sea. Here you will find the outdoor dining table under the shade of a pergola, as well as a beautiful garden with cypress trees and chaises longues and the top terrace, which offers an unforgettable view of the Amalfi Coast.
