Morosini is an incredible Venetian style Noble Floor apartment with canal view belonging to one of the greatest families of the history of Venice who gave six "doges" (kings) to the city through the last millennium. The original Byzantine plan was restructured around the end of the fifteenth century and today we can admire the newly renovated gothic style structure of that time.

The palace is localized centrally in the charming San Polo district, few minutes from the Rialto Bridge and surrounded by exquisite local restaurants and boutiques, yet tucked away from the crowd. It is accessible from the remarkable Campo San Polo, the largest square of the city after Piazza San Marco. The main entrance gate opens on the internal courtyard, a peaceful garden with the traditional "vera da pozzo" (well-head). The apartment is found at the second noble floor. Walking through the library to the magnificent living room we have the feeling that we are in a truly special place, full of charm and history. Terrazzo flooring, antique frescoes and stuccoes, a sublime Murano glass chandelier, luxurious furniture and an ample "quadrifora" (tall arched window) leading to the stone balcony speak by themselves. The view from the balcony is romantic and picturesque, on the canal where it is located the famous Da Fiore restaurant, possibly the best in town.

The dining room, on the left wing of the living room, features a beautiful marble fireplace (not in use) and a very well equipped kitchen. On the right wing can be found the wonderful master bedroom with a unique alcove, the perfect lover treat. The exclusive bathroom is found between the alcove and the second bedroom, therefore accessible from both sides. The second bedroom is very spacious and is equipped with treadmill and TV, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with shower. This room can be accessed also from the library.

This unbelievable home is also very high tech: a niche in the living room hides a wide-screen TV with Bose sound system, there is air-conditioning, Wi-Fi internet connection and satellite TV, the music can be listened in every room, the lighting system is smart and functional. On the ground floor there is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
The lucky guests of the Morosini apartment can take advantage of a five star maid, waitressing and cooking service, available on request.

We suggest the Morosini to extremely demanding travelers as we believe that few other homes in Venice guarantee such an exclusive stay.

We spent 11 days at the apartment in Venice this past May. This apartment was the most beautiful place we ever stayed. We walked to the Rialto market in the morning and suddenly we found ourselves discovering what it is to live in Venice. Being in that apartment gave us also a taste of what it was living in Venice 500 years ago. That was an experience of a lifetime that we'll definitively repeat.  Thank you for this memorable vacation.
